I am glad to have your assessment of Mr. Nenshi’s performance - at the end -of the fall sitting. I was excited to vote for Mr. Nenshi as leader of the NDP. Did I vote? I don’t remember, it’s all a blur. As he has been lackluster as leader of the NDP. I wish I had backed Ms. Pancholi.
I tend to agree with your assessment. It seems that for a very long time the ladies of the NDP are much more vocal and show a genuine emotive quality in their speeches and media scrums. Mr. Nenshi always wounds like some of my old professors at the University. Very knowledgeable but not really inspiring. I really think that when the opposition speaks, they should be less verbose and more emphatic.
I really hope that the NDP are just getting started and turning up the volume! I think there is merit in having more than just the leader speaking to the public. The NDP behaves more like a team as opposed to the authoritarian Smith. Good governance takes a team!
